In every city around the world, you’ll find that the walls are plastered with faces. What better to put there? We are all human, after all.

TOP 5: East London Walls.
The streets of East London are an ever-changing riot of colour. I used to live in that end of town, and I often wish I still did. Either way, I’m always heading back there with my camera, and here are my TOP 5 photos of East London walls.

What can I say? You can take the girl out of Whitechapel, but you can’t take Whitechapel out of the girl.

TOP 5: Royalty.
My initials are H.M. As a child, I assumed this meant I had a special bond with HM the Queen. Ha.
1.The Queen, as seen on Brick Lane. (Note the tiny hand clutching a goblet.)
2. The Royal Mail, in sexy fire-engine red.
4. Here we have QEII looking sharp on a teacup.
5. 1992: A school play. Both the prince and princess look surprisingly grumpy.
p.s. I’m running a weekly project involving your photos. Please click here to join in!

TOP 5: Underwear.
When the English mention ‘pants’, they are strictly referring to underwear. In Australia, pants = trousers. This has gotten me into countless awkward situations where people think I’m talking about my underwear.
1. A gravity-defying bra on the walls of the Southwark Tavern.
2. Very cheeky pants (as seen through sheer tights on my friend’s bum).
3. Tighty whiteys (and a crotch grab) in East London.
4. Mr. Gingerbread forgot his trousers.
5. One of my doodles about x-ray vision.
p.s. Have you heard about COLLECTIVE 5? It’s a weekly collaboration project and you’re invited to take part! Click here.

This is why I love city living.
1. Hanbury Street, East London.
2. Warhol and Dali, chillin’ on Brick Lane.
3. Spraying on South Bank. (I love how he’s practically camouflaged.)
4. A street poster for Chris Ofili’s (amazing) show. If you haven’t gone, GO!
5. Carrying paintings home on the tube.
p.s. Have you taken part in the COLLECTIVE 5 project yet? Check out this week’s theme, and then just send me a photo. Simple!

TOP 5: Pixelated
“The Pixel is the smallest addressable screen element, it is the smallest unit of picture which can be controlled… Pixels are normally arranged in a 2-dimensional grid, and are often represented using dots or squares.” (Thanks, Wikipedia)

P.S. Don’t forget to submit your photos!

TOP 5: Robots.
I’ve been mildly obsessed with robots for a good number of years now. Having said that, I’m only in it for the aesthetics – if the robot doesn’t look good, it can go jump (even if it has a really nice personality).

2. A paste-up on the streets of Athens.
3. The Terminator. (Sadly, he did not also have a red iris.)
4. One of my paintings.
5. Wet weather gear = ultimate robotic chic.

I don’t believe in ghosts, but I’m still too chicken to watch ghost movies. Does that make me a wimp? Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it does.
