COLLECTIVE 5: Up above.

Hello! Collective 5 is a weekly feature consisting of photos submitted by readers. Anyone can join in. All details, including next week’s theme, can be found here.

When I chose this theme, I had thought of only one way to interpret it: Look up, and take a picture. However, about half the photos I received were taken from up above, looking down on what they saw. I therefore ended up with a really lovely combination of photographs. Thanks guys! Keep on sending in your photos!

This week’s photos, in no particular order:

1. Up above: A paraglider, by Adele Turner.

2. From Up Above: The view from the Hancock Tower, Miranda Laurence.

3. Up Above: Primrose Hill Sunset, by Kerry Tucker

4. From Up Above: Madeiran Sunset, by Caitlin Douglas.

5. Up above: On the roof of Exeter College, by Gayle Lazda.

That’s it for this week. To join in next week’s COLLECTIVE 5, click here.

TOP 5: Clouds.

The sky is such an interesting place:

1. A cloudy sky is tolerable when the blue peeks through.

2. Of course, fake clouds are preferable.

3. I don’t mind clouds when they’re filled with colour…

4. …especially such rich golden hues.

5. I guess it’s all good. Unless it’s raining.
